Like a gleaner, I respond to the abundance of objects around me and gather images with my camera, recycling them into new pictorial and conceptual groupings.
Each of these four-part constellations—made between 2001 and 2003—is structured to suggest harmonies and dissonances, affinities and tensions, possible and improbable narratives. Ultimately I am interested in the build-up and breakdown of systems of order, and in the process of making meaning itself.
Inkjet prints are approximately 14" x 14".
